Turnaround: Per cubic inch pieces will be fired with our next load, typically weekly. Whole kiln rental will be immediate unless the kiln is currently in use.

Cone 5
Cone 6: Only available for full kiln rental $120

Sorry, we do not fire higher than Cone 6.
$20 fee for kiln shelf damage from drips (providing kiln cookies is recommended but not required)
Cost of kiln repair is expected for catastrophic kiln damage (i.e. melted low-fire clay, excessive glaze dripping to kiln brick, etc.)

Kiln Firing Service Disclaimer
By submitting ceramic work for firing, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
No Guarantee of Results
Ceramic firing is an inherently unpredictable process. While every reasonable effort will be made to fire work safely and according to the information provided, results cannot be guaranteed. Cracking, warping, bloating, glaze defects, color variations, breakage, kiln shelf damage, and other firing-related issues may occur.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted work is properly constructed, dried, glazed, and labeled. Customers must provide accurate information regarding clay body, glaze materials, firing temperature, and any special firing requirements. Work containing unknown or improperly identified materials may be refused.
Liability Limitation
The kiln operator, studio, owners, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any damage, loss, breakage, firing defects, contamination, or destruction of submitted work, regardless of cause, including kiln malfunction, power interruption, material incompatibility, or normal firing risks.
Shelf and Kiln Damage
Customers may be held responsible for damage to kiln shelves, kiln furniture, or equipment caused by improperly applied glaze, incorrect firing information, foreign materials, or other preventable issues. Repair or replacement fees may be assessed when appropriate.
Abandoned Work
Finished work must be picked up within __21_ days of notification. Items left beyond this period may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of, donated, or recycled at the studio's discretion.
Insurance and Value of Work
Customers should not submit work of irreplaceable, sentimental, or extraordinary value. The studio does not provide insurance coverage for customer work.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting work for firing, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and assume all risks associated with the firing process.
